Engagement Session at Twin Lakes

Twin Lakes will always be my favorite place in Colorado. It’s such a beautiful place for a photo shoot in any season. Amanda & Mason wanted mountains & a lake for their engagement shoot so this place was perfect. The lakes there are nestled amongst gigantic mountains and there are several beaches to explore. First we walked along the shore on the western side. This side is up close to the mountains. After that we headed to Deception Point, with a more panoramic view of the mountains surrounding Twin Lakes. We did the shoot in May so the mountains still had some snow on the tops. We came around golden hour and we had the beaches all to ourselves. I love coming in the off season to enjoy this place in peaceful solitude.
Amanda & Mason are well traveled, and they decided to tie the knot in a new country for them- Iceland! I can’t wait to join them on this epic adventure to celebrate their marriage in my favorite place of all time! Grateful to have made such wonderful friends as these two who share my love of traveling and having new experiences!
