andreea & christian’s Intimate elopement at twin lakes, Colorado
Andreea & Christian love the outdoors, so when they decided to elope together they wanted to come to one of their favorite places- Colorado. They love the mountains, so they chose to marry themselves amongst the scenic beauty of the Colorado Rockies. They also wanted there to be snow on the peaks, so they picked a date in late spring to have the scene they were envisioning while also having warm and inviting weather. This elopement was on June 5 and it was about 60 degrees and sunny, which was perfectly comfortable.
We started their day off with a first look. Andreea changed in their car and I took Christian down the beach to set up. They shared a special moment of seeing each other for the first time, then read their vows to each other amongst the stunning mountains that surround Twin Lakes. We had this beach all to ourselves, and I made sure to keep some distance to give them space & alone time.
After they finished their vows, we laid out a picnic blanket for them to take a break and enjoy some of their favorite treats: a baguette, baked goods, and some craft beers! I highly recommend packing drinks and snacks for any elopement. It’s a great day to treat yourselves, and you should include some of your favorite things. Once they had recharged and finished their snacks, they danced with my bubble machine, splashed in the water, and we went to Deception Point to get some different views. They signed their marriage license on a log and popped some champagne. It was an amazing afternoon for them to celebrate their marriage and love. Their day felt intentional and true to themselves, which is how any elopement should be!
